This is where my happy place and my not so great day meet up. My lungs feel cruddy and sore today. More phlegm than any other day. A setback. I’m able to cough it up tho. My breathing feels a little burny and I wait out the clock between med times. I don’t like wearing my mask at night but it helps my oxygen so that’s good. It just dries me out and hurts my neck. But prayers and sushi are my happy place! I am having sushi for dinner and asking for extra prayers tonight. I didn’t think I would have a relapse but God is still good. It’s already starting to clear up with the wasabi and sauce. Thank you for your prayers!!
Update- they put my mask on very comfortably tonight! It’s not tight anymore. #Jesus
November 13 All God’s Blessings
I wrote a prayer based on Psalms 19:1-8. Thank you, Allison Skartvedt for the great idea!!
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3
They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5
It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion, rejoicing to run his course.
6
It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.
7
The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
8
The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
Thank you for declaring Your glory! The skies proclaim Your creation and the work of Your amazing hands! Day after day they speak Your glory without words. The sound of heaven returns back to us in creation. Day after day they release speech and knowledge over Your fascinating creation. There is something mysterious about the silence speaking to us of creation. We must use our senses to feel the Holy Spirit wind on our faces. And to feel the vibrations of the atmosphere. We have the power to change the atmosphere. Feeling the warmth of God’s perfect love on our skin. Hearing seeing and knowing He is close. His joy waits for us like an excited bridegroom awaiting his precious bride. Anticipating all good and wonderful things in the supernatural. For all of our membranes to be saturated and satisfied in His perfect love. Our hearts swell from one end of heaven to the next. We are all consumed with perfect satisfaction in our body, soul, and spirit. Nothing satisfies like our perfect groom! The law of the Lord is made perfect in Jesus. We can give ourselves over fully and trust His statutes. He opens my simple mind to His perfect joy, love, and peace. He goes deep inside my soul to free me from any negative thought or concern. His promise is He wants the very best for me. I am certain of His heart for me. For all. He opens the light of my eyes to these beautiful revelations. I love You with everything I am, Jesus. Thank you for the words to love You!
November 7 God’s Blessings
Angels fill my room as we speak. Little baby angels, and kid angels are playing and being silly and cute. Some angels are warring in battle stance keeping guard over my doors and windows, walking back and forth with their enormous loud wings swaying side to side. They look at me all serious like it’s tough on me but at the same time they see my perfect peace. There are the angels coming to recover from battle while I pray. It’s a whole heaven in here it’s really cool. There are some i recognize from church and praying at home, and some are new. It’s as if there are special Covid Angels who have a very specific mission. Beautiful day three of these comforting visitors. God is love.

My Latest Testimony
I wanted to share a few holy moments from this weekend and today. I shared Jesus with the CNA who helped me on Saturday and Sunday. We had opportunities to chat while he cared for me. I shared with him that I’m in Bible college, and told him about the love of Jesus. I asked him if he would like to experience the love of Jesus, and asked him if I could pray for him. He said yes. I prayed for him, and God revealed to me that his mother needs healing. I shared that with him. His face lit up. “She does!” He said. So I prayed over his mom, too. When God shows up, He really shows up! It was a good weekend. The janitor came in and I said, “Good morning!” Nothing. Just bags crunching at my door. God told me to tell him, “I see you. I love you. I’m providing for you. Fear not!” After I told him, he paused for a moment at my door. Then the bags started crunching again, and he was off. My nighttime CNA is so amazing. She rolls me like a champ! I’m constantly speaking life into her and thanking her for all she does. She remembers the details and makes me so comfortable. I tell her Jesus loves her.
One of my doctors is Jewish. I didn’t realize it until I told him that Jesus loves him. He made a loud “Oh!” He was shocked. And I realized just then that I now recognized his accent. But I felt like I still needed to bless him. So every day I tell him that. Today he said, “God bless YOU.”
So these are just a few experiences I’m having as I make the most of this opportunity to witness Jesus’ amazing love for folks. It’s the best gig on earth, I’m telling you. I’m kind of hoping they keep me for a bit longer…

Update- I just had an X-ray and I asked the tech her name. “Susan.” She said. So I told her what my mom and inspiration, Susan Caruso tells everyone she meets, whether it’s on the street or on the phone after her business is finished with the credit card guy, the utility guy, or the bank gal- “God loves you beyond all telling, and Christ died for our sins.” Well she stopped rolling her cart and fell silent. She stood there for a few minutes and then left.
So the CNA who helped her approached me and asked, “Are you Roman Catholic?” I replied, “No, but I used to be.” He said, “I’m Roman Catholic, and I see Jesus in you. You’re so positive. Is it Jesus why you tell everyone about Him?” I said, “Yes. He lives in me and loves me so much, it’s my job to share him with everyone.” So he told me he hasn’t been to church since the pandemic but he reads his Bible app sometimes. I asked him if I could pray for him and his hand shot out and he said yes. I prayed. And afterwards he said he had a really hard weekend with the other Covid patients. Right then, God gave me a word for him. I told him, “Every room you walk into will receive healing. You will be able to see it in their stats and numbers. God is with you and in you. Go in Jesus’ name.” If I could take a picture with my eyes and post it I would. He was transformed before me. Shoulders back, head held high and a broad smile on his face. He practically skipped out of here saying, “God bless you!” Every few steps. And one more before he closed my door almost in a whisper as the load finished lifting off of him. I love my job.
Oh! The other janitor just came in. When she first started coming in like four or five days ago, she remained quiet and just did her work. I told her Jesus loves her. A nervous head nod and a quick exit. The next day, I greeted her and told her again. I got a nervous thank you. The next day she had a pep in her step and greeted me, “Goid morning!” She said with joy! Today she came in saying good morning, how are you today? It’s a beautiful day! I said, “Jesus loves you! I love you, too!” And she just lit up and started giggling. It was so cute!

Wind
That elusive rattle
That faint hint of water trapped
Powerfully, forcefully expelling it out
Striving for breath
Yet with You,
There is an abundance of breath
No striving
No laboring
You are there
Filling me
To overflow
With Living water
Not stuck
But flowing freely out from my belly
All of my indiscretions
Washed clean
Your fresh Holy Spirit wind
Fills my being
There is no striving
No strings
Only freedom.
Home
Sitting here
somewhere
Between
Wake and sleep
I think of You
with each breath
Even now,
You hold me,
Even now,
You bless me
Even now,
You call me
Your own.
No need to worry about details
My worship is for
You
Even now
You hold me
Even now
You love me
Even now,
I am
Home

Floating
It’s the eve of my first day of attending the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. It focuses on miracles, signs and wonders as ways to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. In my walk with Jesus, I’ve already experienced these things, and am expecting so many more. While bedridden now, and fully expecting to be healed in God’s perfect timing, the following happened when I was walking.
In the 1990’s, I was nineteen years old, and I had a sales job. I was the youngest on staff by at least thirty years. While these career sales people were putting food on the table and paying their mortgages, I was filling two walk in closets with clothes and shoes from Macy’s and Dillard’s. I was on a first name basis with most of the sales staff at each store, and would wear a new outfit daily. My sisters enjoyed searching my closet and borrowed my clothes, much to my joy and delight. We grew up wearing Catholic school uniforms, so my expanding wardrobe was truly special. My dad had his job at the Stardust for thirty one years, so in my young mind, that’s how I thought jobs worked. You get one, show up on time and do your best, and get a gold watch at some point. Although my dad never got a watch, but a dinner and a plaque celebrating his career.
So when my sales job started becoming competitive, it quite threw me off. I was to be later fired for not making my quota. I’d set an appointment with a customer, then use the restroom before they came. If they came early, and Sam or Barbara (not really their names) if either of them encountered my appointment before me, I would have to split the sale. I had to give tours of the facility, and if I was still on a tour and my appointment came, I’d have to split the sale. It worked that way for everyone, but they were older, smarter, and faster than me, so often met my customers at the pass and closed the sale. I was becoming bitter and angry at what I felt were stolen sales. I carried this thorn in my heart.
It was Easter Sunday, 1990 something, and I attended Central Christian church at their old campus near Pecos road with my older sister, Emily and her then husband Steve. During service, I saw my coworker, Sam, leading worship. I thought to myself, “How could he be up there worshipping God when he keeps stealing my sales?” Then a warm feeling came over me, and I instantly forgave him. My bitter root was removed, as I realized he wasn’t stealing, because house rules allowed for split sales. He had a household to care for, and I just had a wardrobe to build. I repented first being angry and jealous over him. Then, out of the blue, I started floating. My feet kept slipping out of my shoes and I was off the ground. I tried to step back down on the ground, but it was like a magnet’s opposite force keeping me elevated. I thought I was losing my mind at first. So after trying to resist, I just leaned in and continued to worship. It was the first time I was truly wrecked by the Holy Spirit, but until yesterday, didn’t understand what it was. My friend, Esse Johnson wrote a blog post that mentioned floating, and this memory came flooding back. My heart was contrite and repentant, and God chose to bless me with an undeniable encounter. I had never shared this experience with anyone, because I didn’t understand it. I am so grateful to be in a culture and community where signs, wonders and miracles are the norm. It is with an expectant heart that I begin my studies to truly understand and co-labor with the Holy Spirit to be a witness to others to glorify God and His power. Thank you, Lord for this amazing encounter, and for my church community for guiding my way.
Gone
You say you’re leaving
One foot out the door
You say you’re leaving
You can’t do this anymore
You can’t live in the desert
You can’t live in the valley.
I wonder if you are just unhappy
Have you surrendered?
Have you leaned in?
Have you submitted to
God up above?
He’s all around.
You say you want love but you are lost.
Be found.
Worship
God sings to us as relayed in Zephaniah 3:17. Just like He first loved us, He first worshiped over us!
The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.
When we speak the word of God out loud, we are prophesying. When we worship, we release heaven. I can’t help but think of a persistent problem in my life that I had no control over. I set my mind to overcome it, but things beyond my control kept happening and bringing it to the forefront.
It was all I could think about, and all I could do to not feel frustrated. Everyday I’d pray, and I didn’t hear back from God at first. But I kept pursuing peace. I kept hoping things would change. I started worshiping. I began to soak in His presence and give up control. Everyday f I just postured my heart towards God and began to trust Him and trust He’s good at His job.
Then I had breakthrough. The situation turned around for the better. He made the impossible possible. When we worship, heaven and earth come into agreement. In Deuteronomy 10:21 we learn, 21 He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.
Mission- Think of a problem you’re facing. Does it seem insurmountable? Impossible, even? Worship through it! Even if and especially you’re feeling discouraged, ask God what He wants to replace it with.
