Concert

Continued from yesterday…
This morning I was worshipping and had just finished when the respiratory therapist came in. I said. “You just missed the concert!” He replied, “How about an encore?” Sweet.

Continued…
So I found out today is the respiratory therapist’s birthday! His name is Gary. So I had the nurse ask him to come back into my room. Jed had suggested I sing for Gary for his birthday. And Gary asked for an encore, so I was all in! I sang him the song, “I Love You, Lord” and prayed for him. My voice was bright and clear. Supernatural notes were leaving my throat like I was a much better singer than ever before. It was all I could do not to smile so big and ruin it. As I was finishing, my voice started to crack and lose a little breath. I pointed to my neck as I was finishing. I said, “That’s when you walked in the other day. I lose steam at the end.” He said, “That was very good!. I said, “Thank you!Happy Birthday! Can I pray for you?” I did and then he said, “Thank you! Call me back in here whenever you want to sing for me.”

Tyler

My CNA today is Tyler. He’s a Christian. I shared with him that I’m in Bible college and becoming a pastor. He said, “Wow! There aren’t many female preachers.” I shared with him that when the Bible says that Jesus came to set the captives free, He was partly talking about women. We all know the story of Martha and Mary. Martha was in the kitchen preparing the food. Mary was sitting at Jesus’ feet, learning. Martha complained, and Jesus said that Mary was doing the better thing. You see, Jesus was teaching women. He was breaking the rules of society. Women were considered liars and less than citizens. They had to marry whoever their fathers said, and hope that their husbands treated them better than their fathers. They weren’t allowed in the presence of men, and that’s why when the prostitute anointed Jesus’ feet at the table, He broke another rule. There were multiple prostitutes that anointed His feet. He was teaching them, giving them the power of knowledge. He already forgave them their sins so He was just pouring His perfect love into them and they were growing and loving themselves, too. When Lazarus died, and Jesus wept, He was breaking social mores because men didn’t cry in public. Again, breaking the rules. He’s God, after all. His Way is above ours. So when I’m asked if I should be a pastor, or doesn’t the Bible preach against that my answers will be yes and no! Yes, I will be a pastor and no. If anything, Jesus would be the first one to welcome me to the ministry.

The thief cometh not but to steal and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10

Today I met a new janitor, Dora Alesia. You roll the R in Dora. She greeted me with a big hello!I told her she brought joy into my room, and that is healing. I told her she will be like Paul and her shadow will heal people. She replied, “And my happiness! The people feel good when I say hello and talk to them!” Yes, Dora Alesia. Yes. ❤️❤️❤️

Moving out of Covid isolation into a regular room. Missing my mom and my Amber dog so much! One step closer to going home. I was misinformed on Sunday that I was going home on Monday. Just as well, there are new nurses and CNA’s that need an undeniable encounter with King Jesus. I’m not finished. #Disciple #DrawALLMenUntoMe

Be not afraid! My favorite thing is joining our hearts corporately. One time, God showed me what that looks like in an open vision during worship. It was so rad! After pastor Zack said to join our hearts together, a crowd of hearts zoomed up to the front, and joined a bigger heart that was waiting there. They all folded together and shone with a golden light shining on the front. We all became one in that moment, and for the remainder of service and beyond. It was magnificent. I think of it whenever I’m in service. #GloryToGod

I’ve been worshipping all morning. I was singing at the top of my lungs, but I didn’t realize my door was open. The respiratory therapist comes in and asks, “Is everything ok? I heard moaning’”
Me-“I was singing.”
We both just started cracking up for the longest time!!
My voice is froggy from Covid, but Jesus doesn’t care!
When the therapist walked out he said, “I’ll close your door.”
Still chuckling!

November 30

I have been in the hospital since November 5 fighting Covid. I wanted to share a few holy moments from this weekend and today. I shared Jesus with the CNA who helped me on Saturday and Sunday. We had opportunities to chat while he cared for me. I shared with him that I’m in Bible college, and told him about the love of Jesus. I asked him if he would like to experience the love of Jesus, and asked him if I could pray for him. He said yes. I prayed for him, and God revealed to me that his mother needs healing. I shared that with him. His face lit up. “She does!” He said. So I prayed over his mom, too. When God shows up, He really shows up! It was a good weekend. The janitor came in and I said, “Good morning!” Nothing. Just bags crunching at my door. God told me to tell him, “I see you. I love you. I’m providing for you. Fear not!” After I told him, he paused for a moment at my door. Then the bags started crunching again, and he was off. My nighttime CNA is so amazing. She rolls me like a champ! I’m constantly speaking life into her and thanking her for all she does. She remembers the details and makes me so comfortable. I tell her Jesus loves her.
One of my doctors is Jewish. I didn’t realize it until I told him that Jesus loves him. He made a loud “Oh!” He was shocked. And I realized just then that I now recognized his accent. But I felt like I still needed to bless him. So every day I tell him that. Today he said, “God bless YOU.”
So these are just a few experiences I’m having as I make the most of this opportunity to witness Jesus’ amazing love for folks. It’s the best gig on earth, I’m telling you. I’m kind of hoping they keep me for a bit longer…

Update- I just had an X-ray and I asked the tech her name. “Susan.” She said. So I told her what my mom and inspiration, Susan Caruso tells everyone she meets, whether it’s on the street or on the phone after her business is finished with the credit card guy, the utility guy, or the bank gal- “God loves you beyond all telling, and Christ died for our sins.” Well she stopped rolling her cart and fell silent. She stood there for a few minutes and then left.
So the CNA who helped her approached me and asked, “Are you Roman Catholic?” I replied, “No, but I used to be.” He said, “I’m Roman Catholic, and I see Jesus in you. You’re so positive. Is it Jesus why you tell everyone about Him?” I said, “Yes. He lives in me and loves me so much, it’s my job to share him with everyone.” So he told me he hasn’t been to church since the pandemic but he reads his Bible app sometimes. I asked him if I could pray for him and his hand shot out and he said yes. I prayed. And afterwards he said he had a really hard weekend with the other Covid patients. Right then, God gave me a word for him. I told him, “Every room you walk into will receive healing. You will be able to see it in their stats and numbers. God is with you and in you. Go in Jesus’ name.” If I could take a picture with my eyes and post it I would. He was transformed before me. Shoulders back, head held high and a broad smile on his face. He practically skipped out of here saying, “God bless you!” Every few steps. And one more before he closed my door almost in a whisper as the load finished lifting off of him. I love my job.

Oh! The other janitor just came in. When she first started coming in like four or five days ago, she remained quiet and just did her work. I told her Jesus loves her. A nervous head nod and a quick exit. The next day, I greeted her and told her again. I got a nervous thank you. The next day she had a pep in her step and greeted me, “Good morning!” She said with joy! Today she came in saying good morning, how are you today? It’s a beautiful day! I said, “Jesus loves you! I love you, too!” And she just lit up and started giggling. It was so cute!

The physical therapist just came in and was in awe at how great my skin is. She said she’s never seen someone in bed for eleven years that doesn’t have bed sores or skin break downs. I told her that God is very good to me and gives good gifts to His children. That I’ve had over two hundred caregivers in those eleven years who have taken good care of me. I told her that my two caregivers now, Maria and Darling, take extra good care of me and love me. I am blessed and highly favored. She just held my leg, admiring it for the longest time. It seemed she was getting emotional. I prayed for her. She said I made her day! #ButGod

Love Challenge! The next time you encounter a stranger in public, ask the Holy Spirit to give you a word of knowledge for that person. Go into the secret place and use your overflow. Think of a kind and edifying word the Holy Spirit spoke over you to start, and share that prophetic word with the stranger. Also, ask for something specific for the stranger. Even if you get something off like the word cucumber or purple blanket, share it because it will demonstrate the power of the risen King! It will open up a dialogue to share Jesus love. In the line at the pharmacy, in the doctor’s office. Talking about Jesus is like talking about the weather only better! Share your testimony here or inbox me! We are all world changers who can release heaven on earth. Join me in leading all hearts to the One who loves us beyond all telling!! ❤️❤️❤️

November 18

Living from the victory of the tomb, and sharing Jesus with everyone in person is such a pleasure! There is joy unspeakable happening all around me. We are each called to release heaven over people. Actually doing it is the most fun and rewarding thing in my life right now. Changing lives and hearts for Jesus is exhilarating. Even when they are shy, the love reaches their hearts and they are transformed before me. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. I share my story to empower you to go and do the same! God simply gives me what to say. I risk the interaction with power and faith that they need this love in their life right now. It feels good being an ambassador of God’s kingdom. I highly recommend it. ❤️❤️❤️#Revival #FaceToFace

November 17

Praise report! Yesterday, the respiratory therapist told me I’m the only one getting better. I told him others will start to improve because he is bringing healing to each person today. He said he’s just a vessel and i said yes, and that Jesus tells us to go and perform greater miracles than He did. That every room he enters today will experience healing and wholeness as the holy spirit works with him. I said his walking into their rooms and saying, “Jesus” will improve their health immediately. He’s fired up! He was defeated bc everyone is so sick. I just filled him with so much hope and purpose it was so powerful. He practically ran out of here. Praise be to God! Bethel has been instructing us on how to release the prophetic over folks. It’s amazing having the confidence of heaven to be an exhorting voice. I’m in this place to bring heaven. That’s so clear now. I’m in the mission field. I have been speaking prophetic words to all the people through here. It’s been incredible.

I asked him if he felt the power in the other rooms. He said, “Yes! I’ve been stopping to pray at each room and have said a prayer each time..”
