So I just realized that they gave me my roommate’s call light by mistake. I’m not sure if she can press it. It was in between our beds, unused. It’s ok though because she can’t talk and needs extra care. So now when I press it, I wait for them to take care of her, and she always needs something. Then I tell them what I need. I’m telling you, there’s a reason I’m here!
Update- I’m not sure if it’s her call light, or if they just automatically check on her first because she’s more critical. Either way, I’m blessed to help her any way I can. Note to self- she does not like hearing my audiobooks. She turned on her TV before I could adjust the volume. It was loud and I dropped my phone. As I was digging for it, she let me know she didn’t like it. Communication is fascinating!!
Second update- okay, our call lights are right next to each other. I just asked if I had her call light and it’s a no. We must have just been calling the nurses at the same time. I’ll just continue to pray over her and release heaven. I love to help people, no matter what it looks like or how it unfolds, because God is in the details, all of it, really. That’s what love is.
