I wanted to share a few holy moments from this weekend and today. I shared Jesus with the CNA who helped me on Saturday and Sunday. We had opportunities to chat while he cared for me. I shared with him that I’m in Bible college, and told him about the love of Jesus. I asked him if he would like to experience the love of Jesus, and asked him if I could pray for him. He said yes. I prayed for him, and God revealed to me that his mother needs healing. I shared that with him. His face lit up. “She does!” He said. So I prayed over his mom, too. When God shows up, He really shows up! It was a good weekend. The janitor came in and I said, “Good morning!” Nothing. Just bags crunching at my door. God told me to tell him, “I see you. I love you. I’m providing for you. Fear not!” After I told him, he paused for a moment at my door. Then the bags started crunching again, and he was off. My nighttime CNA is so amazing. She rolls me like a champ! I’m constantly speaking life into her and thanking her for all she does. She remembers the details and makes me so comfortable. I tell her Jesus loves her.
One of my doctors is Jewish. I didn’t realize it until I told him that Jesus loves him. He made a loud “Oh!” He was shocked. And I realized just then that I now recognized his accent. But I felt like I still needed to bless him. So every day I tell him that. Today he said, “God bless YOU.”
So these are just a few experiences I’m having as I make the most of this opportunity to witness Jesus’ amazing love for folks. It’s the best gig on earth, I’m telling you. I’m kind of hoping they keep me for a bit longer…

Update- I just had an X-ray and I asked the tech her name. “Susan.” She said. So I told her what my mom and inspiration, Susan Caruso tells everyone she meets, whether it’s on the street or on the phone after her business is finished with the credit card guy, the utility guy, or the bank gal- “God loves you beyond all telling, and Christ died for our sins.” Well she stopped rolling her cart and fell silent. She stood there for a few minutes and then left.
So the CNA who helped her approached me and asked, “Are you Roman Catholic?” I replied, “No, but I used to be.” He said, “I’m Roman Catholic, and I see Jesus in you. You’re so positive. Is it Jesus why you tell everyone about Him?” I said, “Yes. He lives in me and loves me so much, it’s my job to share him with everyone.” So he told me he hasn’t been to church since the pandemic but he reads his Bible app sometimes. I asked him if I could pray for him and his hand shot out and he said yes. I prayed. And afterwards he said he had a really hard weekend with the other Covid patients. Right then, God gave me a word for him. I told him, “Every room you walk into will receive healing. You will be able to see it in their stats and numbers. God is with you and in you. Go in Jesus’ name.” If I could take a picture with my eyes and post it I would. He was transformed before me. Shoulders back, head held high and a broad smile on his face. He practically skipped out of here saying, “God bless you!” Every few steps. And one more before he closed my door almost in a whisper as the load finished lifting off of him. I love my job.

Oh! The other janitor just came in. When she first started coming in like four or five days ago, she remained quiet and just did her work. I told her Jesus loves her. A nervous head nod and a quick exit. The next day, I greeted her and told her again. I got a nervous thank you. The next day she had a pep in her step and greeted me, “Goid morning!” She said with joy! Today she came in saying good morning, how are you today? It’s a beautiful day! I said, “Jesus loves you! I love you, too!” And she just lit up and started giggling. It was so cute!
